| London College of Fashion (LCF) is a well-established school that has offered education in six different facilities in London for the last 100 years. LCF has an international reputation in fashion education and offers a wide range of academic programs and short-term courses in several subjects such as fashion design and technology, fashion management, marketing, and creative design. Established in London, one of the world’s major fashion centers, LCF also provides working opportunities before and after graduation through the college’s strong industrial connections. The Istanbul Fashion Academy has been working together with London College of Fashion since 2005. Moreover London College of Fashion partnered with the European Union and İTKİB in the Fashion and Textile Business Cluster and acted as an advisor on academic content during the founding of İMA. This close relation between LCF and İMA, established with a long-term vision, benefits both schools with the educational and industrial connections of each school. Through a memorandum signed with LCF, İMA became the college’s partner in academic counselling, in applying foundation degree training courses at İMA, in joint fashion projects, and in placement and both student and trainer exchanges.
